New Simulation 2.0 Module
This release also empowers Business Analysts to perform "what-if" scenarios to improve and optimize processes and anticipate resource requirements, using the Workflow Simulation module. Analysts can compress time and simulate several hours or days of work activity into a few seconds of real time. The simulation module builds upon the previous import capability by now being able to modify workflows and add tasks to the workflow, include sub-processes (or work units), compare simulation runs, generating comparison reports, and perform more analysis, including a new revenue projection. Click here to see more .

Support for the new Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework
The .NET 2.0 Framework (ASP.NET 2.0) provides developers with increased control and flexibility regarding data management and access. Developers now have the ability to reduce the code needed to access and display data by encapsulating functionality in new data controls. Many of the features designed manually in traditional ASP or ASP.NET 1.1 applications are now built into the new data controls. This new architecture for data access is also very extensible, and is designed to access data from many different sources, including databases, XML files, flat files, data streams and more.

For more information on other new features, please contact your Captaris Workflow representative to schedule a consultation or to sign up for an online demonstration.
