Microsoft Windows NT and Internet Explorer Requirements
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4 Required
The RightFax 7.0 installation requires Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4. If this Service Pack has not been installed,
please install it before installing or upgrading to RightFax 7.0.
Server Software Requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0
RightFax 7.0 requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (or higher) be installed on the server. If it is not already installed
on your RightFax server machine, Internet Explorer will be installed automatically as part of your RightFax server installation
or upgrade. If it is installed, Internet Explorer will automatically reboot your server at the end of the RightFax install
without warning or notice.
Client Software Requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0
The RightFax 32-bit client applications (such as FaxUtil) require Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 (or higher) be installed
on the client machine. If it is not already loaded, please install Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 prior to running the RightFax
client install.
Enhancements to the RightFax / Xerox Document Centre Integration Software
RightFax 6.0 and higher support Xerox Document Centres DCS 240, 255 and 265ST. RightFax 7.0 and 7.2 also support DCS 460,
470 and 480. Documents can now be scanned and sent directly to internal RightFax mailboxes from the Document Centre. This
is useful for scanning a document or previewing a fax before sending.

Board Updates
Brooktrout Boards with Digital PRI Lines:
IMPORTANT! If you are operating Brooktrout boards with digital PRI lines, you *must* install the latest RightFax PRI drivers
*before* upgrading to 7.0. Failing to install the latest PRI drivers may cause your RightFax 7.0 update to fail. To install
the latest PRI drivers on the RightFax server, go to the \SUPPORT\BTPRIUPD directory on the RightFax 7.0 CD-ROM and run SETUP.EXE.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the PRI drivers installation. If you are not sure whether you have installed
the latest drivers, run this Setup program to ensure your 7.0 update installs correctly.
