Innovative New Extension Merges the Scanning and Printing Power of the
KONICA MINOLTA MFP with the Network Fax Power of Captaris RightFax

(NASDAQ: CAPA), a leading provider of software products that automate document-centric business processes, today announced the launch of the KONICA MINOLTA Extension for Captaris® RightFax®. This integration between RightFax and KONICA MINOLTA multifunction products (MFPs) harnesses the scanning and printing power of the KONICA MINOLTA MFP and the network fax power of RightFax. The KONICA MINOLTA Extension will provide significant cost reductions and productivity gains to businesses by enabling fast and easy integration of enterprise fax, document capture and delivery capabilities with the same MFP devices used daily for printing, scanning and copying.

Jointly developed by Captaris, Inc. and KONICA MINOLTA BUSINESS TECHNOLOGIES, the KONICA MINOLTA Extension for RightFax is an optional enhancement for the KONICA MINOLTA bizhub C250, C300, C351, C352, and C450 color MFPs.  Through tight integration with the RightFax MFP Module, it provides access to powerful RightFax server and electronic document delivery features directly from the KONICA MINOLTA MFP control panel. This solution provides customers with the ability to use the control panel of the MFP to send and receive network fax jobs managed by the RightFax Server.

The KONICA MINOLTA Extension for RightFax and the RightFax MFP Module are available through KONICA MINOLTA's North American direct sales and authorized dealer channels. RightFax Server products are available through Captaris and Captaris authorized resellers.
