What’s New in Alchemy?

The new version of Alchemy is now available and here are two ways it will improve your business - immediately.

1. Problem: manual indexing takes too much time and results in errors.
   
   Solution: Automatically Index documents with data you already have.
     
   
   

   Increase Productivity with the new Database Lookup feature: 

   • Before: Take the time to perform manual indexing of your documents and risk manual errors.
      
   • Now: Automatically import data from an external ODBC-compliant database source into Alchemy document profile fields in real time.
   
   
   
   
2. Problem: E-Discovery requests, or Internal and external audits; need to share very specific information with a 3rd party in digital format.
     
   Solution: Easily create new repositories based on search results.
   
   
   

   Increase Efficiency with the new Copy-Move Search Results feature:

   • Before: Perform a manual search through all your electronic documents looking for anything that relates to the requested information and export that information to portable media. Pray they don’t ask for anything else.
       
   • Now: Search for that information in Alchemy and copy the documents to a new Alchemy Archive, burn it to disc, you’re done.
          

Here are some other reasons to upgrade! 

• View all types of PDFs with no worries using the enhanced Alchemy document viewer.

• Improved Barcode Separation lets you use your own barcodes for defining document separation.

• Index, archive and view MS Office 2007 documents. Alchemy now supports the new and open XML-based file format introduced in Office 2007.
