Problem Converting Fax Body or Coversheet File

When I submit a Fax, that consists of a PDF (using the COM API), I get this error when looking at the statis of the items inside FaxUtil.

We are licensed for the PDF Module, but apparently our developer server is having a problem.

In the event log, I see the following messages

    -- From RightFax WorServer 3
Error (-100) in initialization of the GSDLL32.DLL failed.
CVLtoPS:Return from execution (0x3E6). Time for call = 0 secs.
    CP:Error 0x3e6 converting PSCRIPT (attachment #0).
    CVL:Failed: 'Error 0x3e6 converting PSCRIPT (attachment #0)'.

    -- RightFax Server Module
    GS:Handle 0x2000020.
DBC:Error (-1) in body conversion of fax 0x2000020.

Any ideas how to correct this problem?

    Thanks,
    John

What version of RightFax are you running? If you are on v8.5, then upgrading to SP5 will usually fix this issue. If you are on v8.7 then upgrading to SP2 will probably fix this issue.

If all else fails, then there is also a NativeDocControl registry entry that you can add to the HKLM\\Software\\RightFax\\WorkSrv# keys that tells RightFax how to handle the conversion. Here is a link to a tech note that describes the Registry entry.

If Greg's comments don't work, there is a beta fix available for this as the registry changes do not always work. This fix is not available in an SP but will be in the future.
