    RightFax Production - ParseXML

    Hi,

In short: We are unable to send faxes via ParseXML via the Integration Module!

    In Detail:
Our client is trying to send faxes via XML by sending the XML to a TCP/IP Socket. We created the TCP/IP Port via the Integration module and the port works fine, however the clinet would like to user ParseXML.exe instead of the normal MakeDoc.exe, there should be NO reason why this is not possible.

However when we send faxes via the TCP/IP port (and we tried via MQ as well) using ParseXML, NO faxes are being sent.

The FCL in the inbox is empty, therefore 0byts (zero bytes) in size and therefore also the txt in the MakeDoc

If I bufdir the Inbox and then buffer.exe via command prompt I get the following when the client sends a fax:

000001A9.fcl was deleted while it was being written

In the Windows Event Log I receive the following:

    1st:
    Process: buffer.exe
    PID - ThreadID: 3188 - 5812
    LastWinError #0
Message: Document 426 contained a FCL error

    2nd:
Parsed files were not copied to the Errors folder since it is empty or an invalid format. Please check source file for Unicode, emptiness, proper format, etc.

If I submit xml via ParseXML from the command prompt, all seems well:

We get a UniqueID and a status message that the document has been sucessfully submitted for sending, however the FCL file in the Infox directory is blank and therefore the same errors as above are applicable.

    Can someone please provide assistance?

Since the error message you are getting is that there is an FCL error in the document can you post the FCL document so we can see what is in there?
