    "Limit on the maximum number of concurrent connections reached"

    Hi all,

    We have a client application that uses the alchemy API.

    Everything runs fine apart from an error that comes up sometimes.

    "Limit on the maximum number of concurrent connections reached"

    It says this when I try to open our application but if  I open alchemy search it runs fine!

    Our application only uses alchemy search.

    Has anyone came across this before?

    Thanks in advance for your help/ideias.

    Regards,

    Antonio

    Hi Antonio,

    This error message appeared when your client application (API) don't close its connection to server. Can you post your code?

    NOTE: Remember this forum wasn't enabled from of the begging of 2010.

    Best Regards,

    Francisco

    I've just realised that.

    Thanks Francisco.

    What do you that the forum wasn't enabled?

    Regards,
    Antonio

    Hi Francisco,

    I've added the following to the form1_formclosing:

    db.logout()

    app = nothing

    db = nothing

    But we are having the same problem.

    Thanks for your help.

    regards,

    Antonio
